6 Months!

Lana you are 6 months old today!

* You are still in 3-6 months clothes and some 6-9 months
* You eat 4 oz every 3 hours
* You go to bed around 9 and get up at 9 on the weekends. I have to wake up you when I go to work, but you go right back to sleep.
* You started crawling about 4 days ago! Uncle Jeff worked with you one night and the next night you were so much better at it. You are fast learner!
* You are a very determined baby. If you see something you want, you figure out how to get it.
* You love the big teddy bear that Uncle Jeff got you. You defiantly have favorite toys.
* You started playing peek-a-boo with dad and laugh like crazy at him. It is so neat to see!
* You are getting more difficult to change. You always twist around on your changing table and I think I am going to have to start telling you "no-no" soon because you will not lay still for me!

It is Christmas eve and Lana is half a year old! That is crazy to me but man it is AWESOME! Jayson and I were talking about it last night and both said how much we love being a mom and dad. Lana has been such a blessing to us as a family. I know the holidays are really hard for my family and I think she has helped bring some of the Christmas spirit to them as well. I know it has given me completely different perspective on Christmas. Christmas is and always will be about celebrating Jesus' Birthday, but it is for the kids to. I cant wait to teach her about Jesus and His birth and to see her face on Christmas morning when she starts to get what is going on.

Jayson is working tonight and we had a huge snow/ice storm today! We went to my parents and hung out there for a while then they brought me home with the 4 wheel drive explorer. Thank you Mom, Dad, and Craig for getting us home! Lana went to bed super easy. I think she knows Christmas is tomorrow and she will have a big day! Actually, I dont know who is more exited for Christmas.... me or Lana? I hope I can sleep tonight!!
