You are 9 months old today! It has been another amazing month. Here is what you have been up lately:
- You weigh about 18.5 lbs. I will know better after your doctor's appt. next week.
- weight 18 lbs 2 oz (33%)
- length 28.75 inches (84%)
- head circ. 17 inches (24%)
- The doctor said you looked perfect! I guess from your percentiles you are tall and skinny just like your daddy for now!
- You are in size 2-3 Pampers diapers during the day and size 3 Huggies at night.
- You nurse or take a bottle every 3-4 hours. You get about 5 oz in your bottle and baby food in the evening.
- You are getting more co-ordinated with picking up smaller objects.
- You can wave "Hi" pretty constantly, but usually wave with your fingers facing you. So, it looks like you are waving "hi" to yourself. It is so cute!
- You went on your first long road trip last weekend to Grapevine/Keller, Texas. Dad and Uncle Jeff went to Supercross and you went with Mom to Jeff and Lindsey's. You did great! You slept all the way home with me in the back seat and hardly made a peep!
- You love to play peek-a-boo. You will play by pulling your blanket over your head or by hiding on the side of the couch.
- You are getting more brave at turning lose and walking along side things. I still think it will be a while before you are walking, but you are getting closer.
- You like to be outside. I am sure you will like it even more as it gets nicer and we can go for longer walks.
- We started putting you in the shopping cart. We have only been to Academy and Target, but you seem to like looking around. I make sure the cart is covered by a really cute shopping cart cover so you dont get any of those nasty germs!
- You still don't have any teeth and I can't see signs of them coming anytime soon.
