14 Months

Lana you are 14 months old today!  You are a very happy, healthy, active little girl that has a mind of your own and does not like it when things don't go your way.  More and more personality is coming out and you are pretty stubborn.  Hopefully that same determination and perseverance will carry through and you will know that you can do anything you set your mind to.  Here is what you have been up to lately:

* You weigh about 20 lbs. 
* You are in 12-18 month clothes
* You wear a size 3 diaper
* You have 5 teeth now!  Three on top and two on the bottom. 
* You are officially weaned from nursing.  It was so hard on me but you are doing great with it! 
* You eat 3 good meals a day and have a few snacks in between.  You really like string cheese and bananas.  I let you bite them yourself and you really seem to like that. 
* You are still in the rear facing car seat.  You are still under the weight and height limits and we figured as long as you are comfortable, there is no reason to turn you around since rear facing is the safest. 
* You can say ma-ma, da-da, rock, thank you, ball, and your favorite is "daaa-dddsss" for dog.  Everything is a "daaa-dddsss".  It is way cute! 
* You are still not too big on kisses and lovins other than to the dogs.  Sometimes we will get lucky and get a kiss, but it has to be on your terms.
* You love to play with your "knock-knock"  You like to push the pegs through and play with it almost every day. 
* You like the pool, but like walking around the step the best.  You don't realize where the step ends so we have to watch you really close! 
* You have started to come sit in our lap for just a minute when we are in the floor playing, then you are off again!  You never stay still for long! 
* You can point to your nose and blink your eyes when we ask you "where is your nose" and "show us your eyes".
