July 4th is my second favorite holiday behind Christmas. It always has been. Growing up, we were always at the lake, on the boat all day, Platter's to eat for dinner, fireworks on the golf course followed by our own show by my brother. I loved the 4th! Although our activities have changed, I still love this day. We had a bike parade followed by dinner with friends and fireworks. It was a beautiful night and the kids had so much fun! It is so great making these memories with our kids as a family.
