Having lived in Oklahoma my whole life, I am used to storm season. I actually really, really love storms. I was only about a mile away from both the big tornados that hit Moore in recent years. May 3, 1999 was "the big one" and I remember that night well. It was the first time I remember going to the storm shelter. I was at cheer practice and after a dozen calls from Mom when she finally said "get home now". In recent years I have more or less just blown them off and got mad for them doing continuous coverage ane interrupting my shows!
Well, let me tell you things change! Having Lana has made me love the continous coverage and much more cautious of them. I watched the storm coverage all afternoon and they even let us go home early from work. I cleared out the hall closet and was prepared with a life-jacket and bicycle helmet for Lana. ha! I talked to Mom frequently and right as Lana went down for a little nap, they all came over. Dad said to pack-up and head to the storm shelter. So that is what we did; mom, dad, grandma, Lana, and the dogs. We very willingly went! We got to Annette's just as it was starting to rain and, for only the second time I can remember, sat in the storm shelter as the storm went by. We did not even close the cover, but it made me feel much more safe by having Lana in there. That night I told Jayson that our next house WILLl have a storm shelter.
Lana is ready with her flashlight! (Just like her great-grandma!)

Bre Bre that's so cute! I tell Jared the same thing about our next place having to have a cellar! It's a must :) I have always had one and I don't intend on going without one when I move home. Miss you and love seeing the updates! Court
