Fire Trucks and Father's Day

Lana is showing dad how to do his work in the big fire truck!

Last weekend Lana and I went to visit Jayson at the firestation.  She was so cute, but really shy around all the guys.  Once she got out in the rig room she wanted to see everything.  She loved sitting in the driver's seat and crawling around.  I was worried she would sound the horn or something, but thankfully the truck stayed quiet!

This weekend is Father's Day.  Lana was due on Father's Day last year, but did not make her apperance until 3 day's later.  So, this is Jayson's 1st Father's Day and I hope it is super special for him! Lana has an amazing dad and I am so thankful to call him my husband as well!  One of my favorite things to see is when Jayson picks Lana up in the mornings.  We do a baby swap on my way to work and when he is getting off work.  I know that sometimes he has already been up for hours and is exhausted from the night before, but he always takes the time to give her a good morning kiss and her face just lights up!  As he puts her carseat into his truck and I drive off leaving them for the day, I will look back and they will still be talking and he will be kissing on her.  It just melts my heart to see how much they love each other.  He calls her his "little buddy" and Lana calls him "Da-Da".  I don't know what can be more special than that!
