Babies...Babies Everywhere!

It seems like everyone is having a baby!  I think I know of about 18 people having kids from April-August this year and 4 of those are my best friends!  I am so excited for them.  It is going to be fun!  It was great with Lana because 2 of my best friends had little girls within 5 months of Lana and she is such good buddies with them!  So far out of those 4, we have 2 girls and one boy.

On another note... I would be lying to say I was happy for all 18 of those and I think 5, maybe 6, of them are my cousins.  None of which are married or will be able to fully support a baby.  Yes it makes me really sad and somewhat frustrated.  I have worked hard, graduated high school, graduated college, bought a house, got married, got my master's, and only then chose to start our family once we were sure we could provide for them in the way we wanted to and they deserved.  It does frustrate me that my hard earned tax dollars goes to support such irresponsibility.  I know it is easier said than done not being in their shoes, but if I were their parents I would have to strongly encourage them to consider adoption to a family that wants a baby so badly that can't have one.  It does surprise me, but it doesn't considering each of those cousins that are having babies does not have parents that are together.  It makes me thankful for the example each our parents set for us and I wonder if that has anything to do with the situation we are in compared to them.  I wonder. I am thankful for the love our parents have shown to each other for Jayson and I to model that to our kids.  That is all I will say about that.

Baby #2 updates to come!
