The trim guys are almost done and they have really surprised me with little stuff they have added without us even asking. I think it looks awesome. They just have the stairway, front door, some hallway base board and the master tub front. Hopefully they will finish up on Monday and we can start painting Tuesday/Wednesday.
The paint has been one of the more stressful points in this project. Paint can make such a difference and I just want to be sure I pick out the right colors which is hard because I am so far from a decorator. Hopefully it will look okay.
I was just thinking a frame all around the window but love what they did on the top of windows. We aren't going to put curtains, just some hidden blinds for if we want to pull them down, so I think the extra at the top will be perfect. It matches the back doors, front door, study, and coat closet.
I was thinking a small frame around the mirrors too, but really like what they did where the lights will mount above the mirror.
Love the base wrapped around my cabinets. They did it just like I wanted. I think they are doing the same thing in the master bath.
