Busy, Busy, Busy

I guess that is the story these days and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon.  I will say that I am really enjoying it though!  I could very easily be pretty stressed.   After all what about building a house, selling a house, raising a toddler, having a baby, and working full time in the busiest group at Devon isn't stressful?  I am really surprised at how well I have have handled it all.  I am trying to enjoy every day and it really hasn't been bad.

Loving the warmer weather to be outside.

Lana is just so much fun and you can't help but smile when you look at her!  Then I am constantly reminded of God's blessing as this baby boy is growing stronger and moving more in my belly.  I am a happy girl!

I mean how funny is this!  She came out of our room the other night after we took a bath like this.  She did not want to take them off to put on a diaper and pjs.  I will say that she walks in them really good!

Well, yesterday was a really productive day.  I love days like that when I get to cross things off my list!  We got the granite for the countertops in the bathroom picked out, picked up tile to start that the week after next, paid the trim guy, and got the carpet picked out!  Right now the painters are staining and it stinks so bad in the house!  I think they have another week and part of the following week left.  Then, the countertops go in.  It is coming together.

The frame around the door.  You can see some of the stain in the office/playroom.

Where the tub will go.  It is in my parents garage along with the oven/microwave and tile.  You don't even want to look in our garage either.  It is full of sinks, vent hoods, faucets, lights, cabinet hardware, door knobs, etc.  It is just full!  I am ready for some of the stuff to start going in the new house!

Here is our slab of granite that the countertops will be made of.  I forget the name but it is really pretty.  It does not have a super smooth top which is different and I really like it.

Close up.  I think it will look so pretty with the cabinet stain and tile Jayson picked out.

Hopefully this house will be done this month, move in May, have a baby in June.  Sounds like a good time!
