I got the best news yesterday....My best friend is flying home today! She is brining with her a new addition and I can't wait to hold that baby boy! I took a bed, bath tub, and carseat over to her parents house to save her from having to pack all that stuff.
We had a little extra time before having to meet some people out at the new house, so I decided to have a lunch date at Panera with my girl. She ate almost the whole grilled cheese and loved the strawberry smoothie. I can't think of a better date!
Here is some updates on the house from today. The island is done. It is massive and beautiful. I dont even think I can reach the center but I love it.
Here is the sink in the island. I think it will look really good and they were mounting it to the countertop today.
Entry with lights. The electrician is almost done and I think appliances go in next week.
The next steps are getting the tile done so the plumber can start. I think the heat/air will be done next week and the fireplace next weekend. Then it will be finish the floors and install hardware/doorknobs.
It is getting so close. My goal is to move in the week of May 9 if all the inspections can get done.
I am looking forward to a relaxing weekend and hanging out with Jayson tomorrow. I think he is starting to miss taking care of Lana on his days off. He has had many late nights this past week out at the house and has not got to give her kisses before bed. Only a few more weeks and hopefully it will slow down some.
