Happy 4th of July

The 4th of July is probably my second favorite holiday next to Christmas.  It brings memories of the lake and staying out in the boat too long only to rush in for showers, aloe lotion, a quick burger or hotdog on the grill in order to get to the park for fireworks followed by our own personal firework display by brother.  The 4th of July is seriously one of my favorite days of the years and there is such good memories that come with it!

The past 3 years have been a little bit different, but still great.  We have not been to the lake or seen the fireworks on the golf course, but this year we did see the fireworks from 12th Street park in Moore for the first time.  The night was great.  Lana spent it with her buddies swimming, jumping, driving the jeep, playing with glow sticks, seeing the horses and so much more at our friends parents house.  Grayson spent it sleeping the whole time and not making a peep.  We had a little cool front come through early evening that cooled everything down to make for a perfect night outside.  The evening finale came with fireworks, me holding Grayson and Jayson standing next to me holding a sleepy Lana.  It was one of those moments that I tell myself to remember forever.  It was perfect.  I know I am blessed and have so much to be thankful for.
