Two and a half

Lana Jaye,

You are 2 1/2 years old.  Wow.  Closer to three than two.  You are an amazing big sister and love Grayson so much.  You are a very caring and loving little girl.  You always want to help.  There have been a couple times when I have a headache and you will "kiss it and make it better" and will even follow up by asking me if my head is hurting.  You have hurt Grayson on accident and you clearly feel really bad about it.  You are getting so big, but still so little.  I am reminded of this in instances like last night when you just wanted me to hold you wrapped in your blanket.  You are my precious little girl and my best friend!!

Some Lana-isms...
You say "deer-rain" instead of raindeer.
Another favorite is "I don't wike it"
"It's okay buddy" talking to Grayson when he is upset.
You always call Grayson your "buddy boy"
"sleep tight mommy" yelling it a few times after her door is closed at night
"love you too, bye"
You are starting to learn your colors and although you like to say everything is pink, you know blue, black, orange, and purple. 

I love that I am now able to have full conversations with you and you are so much fun to hang out with.  You are a handful, I am not going to lie.  Your strong will and stubbornness rivals your Daddy's.  I am so thankful for you!
