Christmas 2011

I am pretty sure Christmas 2011 will go down as one of the best days ever.  It was seriously right up there with Disney World, the Christmas we got a puppy, wedding day, and the birth of my kids.  I mean it was up there in those handful of days that you end by saying "wow that was perfect".

It all started a few days before by putting together Lana's kitchen from Santa.  I had thought about that night for a long time and could not wait to be there putting together Christmas presents from Santa after the kids go to bed.  It was so special.  We then had to hide it so I could set it out on our Christmas eve.  Jayson was working Christmas so our Christmas Eve was really the 23rd since we did Christmas and Santa on Christmas Eve.

I got to put Santa presents out and I think everything was perfect.  Lana saw her trampoline first and quickly knew what to do.  After some jumping she moved into the living room where she first washed her hands in her new kitchen.  She loved everything and took 2 hours to open everything!  Of all the toys, colors, gadgets, and babies, I think she liked the spinning toothbrush the best.  How funny is that!  I think that was the biggest hit of the day.  She did not want to put it down.  Finally she did and was digging into her presents like crazy.  After each present she would say "open".  I think we heard that no less than 100 times.

The next day, Christmas we went to my parents and had round 3.  It was great too, followed by an amazing dinner.  It was entertaining to say the least.  I will leave it at that and those that were there will understand what I mean.

Love these boys.

Waking up Christmas morning

Run through it!

told you the toothbrush was a hit!

future baseball player? He loved the baseball and glove.

Grayson got his first bite of food!  He really did like it.

Jeff quickly taught Lana to jump from the trampoline onto the bean bag.

Family!

Cooking some yummy stuff.

I wanted to start some Christmas traditions and one of them was making Jesus a birthday cake and singing Happy Birthday to Jesus since that is the reason we are celebrating!  I don't ever want to forget the real reason for Christmas. So thankful to be celebrating His birth!

I know this was a picture overload, but I am seriously so thankful for Jesus and to be celebrating that with my family!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE KENNEDY'S!!
