World's Toughest Job

I know I am blessed beyond measure, but I have to say that working and being a mom is hard!  I am pretty sure a working mom only falls behind being a military wife/mom and single mom in the list of world's toughest jobs!  No I am not talking about that single mom that is 17 years old and still lives at home with her parents raising her kids and paying the bills.  The true single mom.  I am probably just in my Monday pity party, but I am already missing the kids like crazy and not looking forward to the 44 hours I will work this week.  It is okay and we will get through it, but it is not easy.

I get to experience the single mom life in short spurts on the days that Jayson is at the station.  I get to do it all on my own.  Pack clothes, pack lunches, pick-up/drop-off, bath time, nurse Grayson, feed Lana, feed the dogs, bed time stories, put Grayson to bed only for him to wake up 2-3 times...the list does not seem all that bad when I look at it, but it is hectic and just hard sometimes!!  I know it could be so much harder so I really hate to complain.  Well, hopefully I am not really complaining because I have two AMAZING kids and it is hard to complain about that!  I just want to say that it is hard and the stay at home mom really has no clue unless they have done the working mom thing on how hard/busy it is. That is all, I don't even know if I am going to post this or leave it up if I do.  Thank you to my mom for showing me that it can be done.
