7 Months

Grayson Lane,

You are 7 months old!  How are you closer to one than a newborn.  You are seriously cute and one of the happiest babies ever!  You love to smile, but always do it with an open mouth.  You laugh and watch everything around you.  You love playing peek-a-boo and seeing what Lana is up to.  We started food this past month and you seem to really like it.  Lana loves to feed you too and does a really good job at it.  I keep an eye on her to make sure she is not shoving the spoon too far into your mouth, but she is really gentle with it. 

Here are some milestones this past month:
Clothes: 6-9 months
Weight: 17-18 pounds
Diapers: pampers size 2 or huggies size 3
Sleep:  It is getting better.  You go to bed around 9:00 pm and wake-up around 6:00 am but go back to sleep until about 9:00.  You hate to sleep on your back and we almost always have to rock you or feed you to sleep.  You only like to sleep on your left side or tummy.  Somehow, you will pass out in the car almost everytime! 

*  Sippy cup 12/19
*  Rice cereal 12/24.  You have also had carrots (did not like them much), peas (did not like these either), squash (loved it), applesauce, oatmeat, bananas, mangos, sweet potatoes, avacados and puffs. 
*  Fever 1/14.  You got really sick right at 7 months and we had to take you and your sister to the doctor on Jan 16.  No strep throat, just a virus.
*  You started crawling 1/2 and now are getting everywhere you want to go.  It is still and army crawl, but you are fast!
*  You love your baths and like to watch Lana splash around. 
*  You get mad if Lana takes a toy you are playing with or you want something she is playing with. 
*  You started babbling more this month.  I wonder how long before you say ma-ma or da-da.  Or maybe it will be Lana? 

You are one sweet "buddy boy".  We love you so much!!!  Thank you so much for blessing us more than you will ever know!
