Breckenridge

We went to Breckenridge last week and it was so great to get away from the everyday here at home and work.  It was a long car ride, but the kids did awesome.  Grayson got a little fussy the last hour on our way up there, but we made it just fine.  Here are a few things I learned:

*  I confirmed my firm belief that kids should have their own room and own beds.  Neither one slept very well since we were all sharing a room. 
*  14 hours is about my limit in a car.
*  I only made it worse when I sat in the back seat with the kids.
*  I am perfectly happy just hanging out with the kids and looking at the mountins.  Skiing is not my thing!
*  We ate out more than we have the past 8 months combined and it was actually really enjoyable with both kids.
*  Lana loves sledding and the snow.
*  Grayson loves just looking around and watching what is going on around him.
