Jayson was working the Thursday I got home from Canada, so I was going to have to wait until Friday to see him. He came in and went to bed as usual and I slept until 11:15. It was great! For some reason, I decided to take a pregnancy test when I got up. I knew it was still super early. Well, I took a test and was expecting it to come back negative. I brushed the teeth then had a look at the cheap dollar tree test I had just taken. There was a line! I could not believe it.
Now I wanted to take another test, but with a better brand just in case. I drank a couple glasses of water and just when Jayson was getting up I had to go again. They say it is best to test first thing in the morning because the hormone is more concentrated. I was nervous that it would not show anything since it was so early. But, I took another test and sure enough 2 lines again! When he got up I tried to hide the excitement and think I did a pretty good job. I asked him if he wanted to see the pictures of Canada and the last picture was a picutre telling him I was pregnant again. I don't know if either one of us believes it yet. I think we both are pretty cautious of getting too excited.
I made an appointment for Monday morning for blood work and all that stuff. I should be getting the results back today or tomorrow. I really hope this is it! The funny thing is that I feel absolutely nothing. I go back on November 4 for an ultrasound and should see the heartbeat then. Until then, I will try not to stress and hope for the best!
