Valentine's Day

Jayson and I are not too big on Valentine's Day and the mushy stuff that goes with it, but we do love each other very much and want Lana to know how much she is loved.  It is not about one day (that is what Mom always says), but it is still fun.  Jayson grilled steaks and my brother came over Saturday night.  It was so yummy!  I guess that was our Valentine's dinner since Jayson had to work Sunday.  Valentine's Day is a wierd day.  It is the day that my Aunt Linda passed away and it is also the day that I realized Jayson really cared about me.  You see it was back in 2002 when I woke up on a very cold morning for early cheer practice to roses and chocolates on my car.  I actually was not sure who they were from.  I had a date party that night and the next night with a good friend and thought maybe it was him.  Anyways.... come to find out Jayson drove down to Norman (from Edmond) the night before to leave them on my car.  How sweet is that!?  It is even more remarkable because if you know Jayson, he is not the best romantic and outward shows of love.  Fast forward to Feb 16, 2002 where Chad, Jayson and I went to the movies like we had many times before, but Jayson paid for my ticket.  So I guess that was our first official date and kiss.  Still pretty cool, 8 years later and look at this cutie we now have to show for it!

Seriously how much do I love this girl!  She has on my 1st Valentine's Day dress and I think she looks just beautiful! The necklace was from Grandpa Minor and, you guessed it, it was mine from when I was little.  The little heart necklace was just perfect for Valentine's Day.

She is so funny!  She is getting more of a personality every day.
