Vancouver 2010

Watching the opening ceremonies.  What a great way to spend a Friday night after a very long week!  I love the Olympics.  It does not matter summer or winter, there is just something that is magical about it.  I seriously get the goose bumps just thinking about it.  I love seeing the small countries that probably have never seen anything like they are experiencing.  I love the competition and think about the athletes that have worked their whole life for that one moment when it all comes together.  I love the stories that come with the athletes.  I love the hard core competition.  I love all the sporting events (well except curling. I dont think that is a sport and it should be banned)  I love the colors.  I love all these nations and world coming together.  I just love everything about it!  I think about how neat it is to be an olympian and I hope each one of the athletes realize how much their hard work and dedication is appreciated.  It is also sad because a luge athlete was killed today on the luge.  He was just 21 years old.  I thought it was special for them to dedicate the opening ceremonies to him.  I pray for safety for all the competitors and judging to be fair.  It is going to be such a special couple weeks as we see the best of the respective sports compete!

Caught!  She was supposed to be napping!

I think this is one of the first picture I have got of her sitting up.  She is always on the go!

Our precious girl!

On the Lana bug front, she is just doing great!  She is so mobile and active.  I am really looking forward to the weekend with her and a short week this next week.  She makes me smile!  Since she has started pulling up we have lowered her mattress all the way down.  It is kindof hard for me to get her in and out.  I need to get Jayson to lower the bed too. Well, that is about all I got for tonight!
