I suspected I could be pregnant on Tuesday, April 29. I tested that morning, but it was negative. I tested again on Wednesday morning and there was a very faint line. Of course, I had to get a digital on the way home from work and the beautiful word "pregnant" showed up! Excited does not even begin to describe what that felt like! Now comes the hard part...hiding the excitement until I can tell Jayson.
Jayson was at the station and I would not be able to see him until I got off work on Thursday. It seemed like an eternity! Jayson was mowing when I got home and I already had it planned out how I wanted to tell him. I got a "My Daddy's a Fireman" onesie and the book "Guess How Much I Love You".
The plan was perfect. When he would come in from mowing I would give it to him wrapped with a bow. Well, brother stops by for a bit before going to ride, so I had to hide it in the couch until after brother left. It was so hard trying to not give it away by my excitement. If you know me, I am horrible at hiding how I feel. If I am happy, you know it. If I am upset, it shows.
As soon as brother left, I gave it to Jayson and his first words were "Are you serious?!" It was great. I feel so blessed to have a baby in my belly that we created.
