Mother's Day

Mom's have an amazing power that can only come from God. I don't think I can go into details on this without getting too emotional, but I have seen it first hand from my mother and grandma. I did not go to church this morning because I really just don't feel up to it.

I am going to do things I like today. It may not sound like an exciting day to most, but these are things that I really love to do.

1. I am going to make a coconut creame pie for my mom and grandma. I might share some with dad if he is lucky! I love to cook. It relaxs me and I really enjoy it. It brings back great memories of the lake and cooking with my Grandma Ruby and Aunt Linda. I am also going to get the burgers ready for dinner tomorrow.

2. I also love my dogs and they make me happy, so I think that we will go for a long walk later this afternoon. Jayson is working and told me to not just sit here by myself, so I am going to do my best to stay busy and get out.

3. It is Survivor Finale! I LOVE SURVIVOR! I am going to go to my parents, have dinner and watch it. Survivor Finale's are always a big deal in our family.

So that is the plans for Mother's Day. I wish Jayson was home. I know my day will come when I will be a mother and can only be patient while trusting in God's plan until that day comes.
