13 Months

• You still weigh about 19 pounds
• You wear 12-18 month clothes.  You wear dresses all the time now that you are walking.  You look so cute in them!  
• You still wear a size 3 diaper.
• You sleep 12-13 hours a night with a couple hour nap in the afternoon.
• You have 4 teeth!  You are so cute when you smile with that one big tooth on top!  
• You are still nursing once or twice a day.  We are just taking our time with weaning.    
• You love steamed broccoli and green beans.  When you don't like something, you let us know by spitting it out.   
• You went to the zoo for the first time.  You had a great time.  You liked the birds and the big grizzly bear that was leaning against the window the best.  You were not afraid of the bear at all.  Maybe you thought it was just a big dog!
• You will hand me my phone for me to turn the screen on.  Then, you will take and play with it until it goes blank again.  Then, you will bring it to me to turn it back on.  See the cycle here...
• You love to play with my sunglasses and think it is so funny when I put them on you.  
• You know your ball.  We will say "find you ball" and you will bring it to us to play.
• You learned to open cabinets and love to play in the bathroom cabinet with my fingernail polish.
• You also learned to put your finger in your nose.  This is not one of your most attractive looks!  
• When you get mad, you go cry by the dishwasher. 
• I decided to do jumping jacks one night, and you tried to jump too.  
• You will "kick your feet" when you get excited.
• You also know to "stomp you foot" when standing.  

We have loved every month, week, day, hour, minute, second with you.  You are the light of our life.  It is so great watching you grow and learn.  You have turned your daddy into a softy and he loves playing with you.  You even have him "loving your baby".  We both love you so much more than you can ever imagine!
